The construction of the 220kV transmission line is a project that will enable the electrification of the Huambo and Huíla corridor by connecting the hydroelectric power plants, thereby creating a high-voltage grid configuration for the southern region.

This project will include 526 towers over a total length of 214 km, with assembly and erection works currently underway.
